BREAKING NEWS: Celtics Coach Doc Rivers tells WEEI in Boston that Kevin Gernett is unlikely to play for the entire postseason.
That is the headline. Celtrics Coach Doc Rivers was on WEEI this morning and he said that Kevin Garnett had been showing very promising signs all last week. He was running a little bit with the time and hittng the bike. They were holding him out of the last two regular season games in hopes that he would be ready for the postseason.
However, after today's work out the head coach is not feeling the same way. KG was reportedly not able to get through any time on the bike or running without the knee swelling up on him. Doc even went to on to say it if it was going to be this bad, we would not be able to see him at all in the postseason for the celtics.
So we want to know, do you think KG will be out? Or will we see him return? If we do, when?
If KG is out, how far can the Celtics go? The have the Bulls at home in the first round and then potentially the Orlando Magic in the second round, and then if they got through that they would have to go to Cleveland. Do they have any chance with just Paul Pierce and Ray Allen?
Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Leon Powe have been playing real well as of late, so do they have any chance?
